For sale here is a Wheatley-style dry fly box with 16 windowed compartments and felt on the underside of the lid
Comes with a fantastic Arne Mason leather case
The tip sections are numbered
brass top and bottom
The vise is completely self-contained in a handsome felt-lined Walnut box measuring 7 3/4" x 6 1/4" x 3 1/4"
Not bad for a 90-year-old rod
Described as a 7wt on the tube but would do best a line size down as with most older Orvis rods
The actual weight of the rid is 3
and the other for the fighting butt
