Payne Fiberglass Rod 7'For sale here is a not often seen Payne fiberglass rod made by South Bend. It comes from the estate of Joseph Bates and was purchased through Oliver's auction. 7 feet in length, two sections, for a 4 or 5 weight line. Rod is in excellent condition. Comes with original rod bag and tube.

Very little spool/spindle movement -- I would rate it 8

Near mint condition having been fished very sparingly if at all

The writing is likely that of Bessie Bailey

Excellent++ condition with the exception of slight marks on the reel foot from being mounted on a rod and a few handling marks on the rims - no dings
