Vintage Chunky Buckle RingA substantial gold buckle ring with elaborate abstract foliate decoration around the band and behind the crescent shaped buckle itself. English hallmarks warrant the gold, and date the ring to the year 1960. For centuries, the buckle motif has represented loyalty and strength; an unbreakable bond between two people represented, very literally, by the buckle itself.
