R.L. Winston Bamboo Rod 7'9" 2/2 #4/5For sale here is a bamboo rod made by Glenn Brackett at the tail end of his legendary career with the Winston Rod Co. 7'9, 2 2 for a 4 or 5 weight line. Label weight 3 1 8 oz. and actual weight of 3. 40 oz. Size 10 64 ferrules. Excellent++ condition. All sections are full length and straight with no repairs. Comes with original bag and tube.
This is a mint unfished browntone with a nice medium action
Lightly used with a bit of rim rash but otherwise in great condition
this busy rodmaker doesn't have the time
there are a few micro-abrasions in the varnish on the butt section
You can let all that gear jostle around in your bag
